Are there restaurants that can serve plain pasta with butter even if it isn’t on the menu? Italian restaurants are the obvious choice, but other options would be great for my teen with a rare eating disorder. Plain pasta is pretty much all she can order.

    Hello there, Tara!

A warm welcome to planDisney. We're delighted you've stopped by with a fantastic Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning question! I'm excited to hear your family will be visiting The Most Magical Place on Earth in just a short couple of months. Get ready to experience a world filled with magic and wonder... and phenomenal food!

Tara, Guests can book dining reservations up to 60 days in advance, and Guests staying at Disney Resort hotels may book reservations for the length of their stay (up to 10 nights) at that 60-day mark. It looks like you'll be able to start securing dining reservations very soon, so let's figure out some suitable options for your family to enjoy! I was able to locate buttered noodles on the menu at Trattoria al Forno, a popular Italian table-service dining location on Disney's BoardWalk. A couple more of my family's favorite Italian spots on property include Tutto Italia Ristorante at EPCOT and Topolino's Terrace - Flavors of the Riviera at Disney's Riviera Resort. I would check with the chef at each location to see if this special request could be accommodated!

Did you know that the Walt Disney World Resort has a team that specializes in accommodating special dietary requests, Tara? That's right! Guests requiring special diets or with allergy-friendly requests can get in touch with the Special Diets team via email within 14 days of their scheduled arrival for assistance in planning suitable meals during their visit. I encourage you to reach out to this group at Special.Diets@DisneyWorld.com about your daughter's dietary needs, Tara.

I hope this information helps you prepare for your family's magical getaway! As you continue to count down the days until your enchanting escape, feel free to pop back over to planDisney with any additional questions you might have. We're here to help you make the most of your time at The Most Magical Place on Earth!

    See ya real soon,

    Lauren
