Which restaurants require cred card to make res? Made a bunch (& plan on keeping them),but want to know how far in advance I must cancel to avoid charges if my group has a change of plans.Should have made a note when I made the res? oops! Thanx so much”
Hi Lauren,
The last time I checked, the following required a credit card guarantee:
1900 Park Fare, Akershus Royal Banquet Hall, Cape May Cafe, Chef Mickey's, The Crystal Palace, The Garden Grill, Hollywood & Vine, 'Ohana, Tusker House Restaurant, Artist Point, California Grill, Citricos, Flying Fish Cafe, Jiko- the Cooking Place, Le Cellier Steakhouse, Narcoossee's, Hollywood Brown Derby, Victoria & Alberts, Yachtsman Steakhouse.
If you do not cancel within the allotted time frame, which is USUALLY 24 hours prior to your scheduled time (please note: This time frame could be different, depending upon the particular restaurant!), you will be charged a surcharge, $10.00 per person. However, I suggest you call to make sure of this time frame for the particular restaurants for which you have made advanced dining reservations. In order to cancel, you can call 407-WDW-CNCL.
There are a handful of restaurants that actually require pre-payment at the time of booking. These include (at this time, but subject to change): Cinderella's Royal Table, Disney's Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show, Hoop De Doo Musical Revue, & Mickey's Backyard Barbecue. Locations that require the full amount to be pre-paid at the time of the reservation will continue to retain the full, pre-paid amount if Guests are unable to honor the reservation and are unable to cancel the reservation one day in advance.
Please note that these are all subject to change & may not be a complete listing at this time, so I really do advise you to contact Disney at 407-WDW-DINE to make notes of each of your reservations, whether or not they require credit cards to hold or for pre-payment, and the time frame in which you may cancel without penalty. Special dining events and packages may have different cancellation requirements.
