What restaurants do you recommend (either signature or table service) for unique dining? My husband and I are adventurous when it comes to food and would like a variety from night to night. We would love to try several new types of food during our stay.

    Hi Christina,

I highly recommend the following restaurants in order with Jiko being my top recommendation for unique food:
    • Jiko - The Cooking Place in the Animal Kingdom Lodge
    • California Grill in the Contemporary Resort
    • Boma in the Animal Kingdom Lodge
    • Citricos in the Grand Floridian
    • Narcoossee's in the Grand Floridian
    • Tusker House in Disney's Animal Kingdom
    • Victoria and Albert's in the Grand Floridian
I'm not sure California Grill and Narcoossee's fall under "unique foods", but I think they are unique restaurants at Walt Disney World.  The food at the California Grill is fantastic and the views are absolutely fabulous.  Try to get a dinner reservation there so that you can enjoy the Magic Kingdom fireworks from their balcony on top of the Contemporary Resort.  Narcoossee's is a Signature Dining seafood restaurant with an incredible view of the Seven Seas Lagoon.

If your budget allows, then you should try the Chef Table's at Victoria & Albert's in the Grand Floridian.  In my opinion, it is the number one dining experience at Walt Disney World.   You sit in the kitchen and interact with the Chef and staff as they prepare an incredible meal for you.

If this wasn't what you had in mind for uniqueness or variety, write back with more details.  I love to eat and I especially love to eat at Walt Disney World.  I've been in almost all of the Table Service restaurants.

    Have a magical day!
