Hi Matthew!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question - I'm happy to help!
It sounds like you're planning to make sure you go to bed with a full tummy each night during your Walt Disney World Resort vacation! Honestly, I sometimes get so carried away with having fun in the parks that I forget to grab a meal before the
dining venues shut down for the night. On more than one occasion I've been in that situation, so now I tend to plan ahead!
While there aren't any round-the-clock 24-hour dining options at Walt Disney World, you'll find that almost every resort has at least one location where Guests can find food until around 11 pm each evening. Whether it's a Food Court, a Lounge, or a Grab-and-Go counter, Guests looking for a late-night snack can typically find a little something to satisfy a growling stomach. One of my favorite places to go for a late bite to eat is the
Sanaa Lounge in Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge - a cozy lounge that serves appetizers, small bites (try their famous Indian-style Bread Service!), and cocktails from 11:30 AM to 11 PM. Another favorite spot is
Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto in Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort - a tropical tiki bar that serves snacks and drinks until 11 PM. Note: Trader Sam's is for patrons 21 and older after 8 PM. For a more substantial Table Service meal, some dining locations will offer reservation slots as late as 10:45, especially those located in the
Disney Springs area.
On a few of my past visits, I've used a grocery delivery service to stock our room with breakfast items, snacks for the parks, water bottles, and more. I have a daughter who goes from hungry to "hangry" in a matter of moments - by the time she realizes she's hungry, it's too late! It's nice to have a little stash of food to make sure we're prepared! If you choose to go this route, the delivery service will drop your items off with Bell Services when they arrive. Simply call Bell Services to have your grocery items delivered to your room, or stop by the Bell Services desk to pick them up. (I typically keep some small bills on hand for tipping.)
If you have your own transportation on your vacation, there are many late-night places to dine very close to Walt Disney World property. We usually bring our car, and have ventured out for a midnight meal more than once!
Hours and availability of Walt Disney World's dining locations are always subject to change, so please check the official Walt Disney World website or the My Disney Experience app for the most up-to-date hours of operation. I hope you find something delicious to eat and have a wonderful vacation!
