Will restaurants be open Christmas Day for a late dinner? We get in at 9 pm?

    Hiya, Stacy!

Welcome to planDisney, friend! I am delighted to see that you are planning a holiday adventure to The Most Magical Place on Earth. There is something truly special about spending the holidays at Walt Disney World Resort. Uniquely themed larger-than-life Christmas trees transform theme parks and resort hotels, and they create perfect photo spots to capture your memories. You will also find life-size gingerbread houses, festive holiday treats, and dazzling lights everywhere. Get ready for the merriest trip ever!

Official dining hours are released about sixty days in advance, so a confirmation of location hours isn't available just yet. I can say that there are a variety of table service and quick service dining locations at Walt Disney World Resort Collection hotels that currently close between 9 and 11 PM. Should you be arriving at MCO at 9 PM, you may be cutting it close for those 11 PM closures. If you predict you will be arriving at your resort around 9 PM you may find you have a lot more flexibility. Some locations may offer later hours as the holidays are a popular time to visit, but this information will be available closer to your arrival date. My best advice would be to check the hours of the dining location(s) you hope to visit through the My Disney Experience mobile app or on the Walt Disney World website 60 days prior to your arrival.

Stacy, should you find that you will be arriving after dining locations have closed, I recommend placing a grocery order with your favorite delivery service in advance. If you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, your order can be left will Bell Services until you arrive. You do not have to be present for the delivery (unless you are placing an order that requires a photo ID) and perishable items will be stored at the proper temperature. When you arrive at your home away from home you can pick your groceries up from Bell Services, or have them delivered to your room for a small fee. Pro tip: Be sure that your shopping/delivery window will be during a time that you have access to your phone. This way you will be able to communicate with your shopper should they have any questions. Being mid-flight when your shopper has substation questions could result in an order you weren't expecting. You can also order food from a delivery service and meet them in front of the lobby if you prefer not to prepare meals during your stay.

I hope that your upcoming adventure is memorable and merry!
    We'll see ya real soon!
