Welcome to planDisney, Sukhdeep!
At Walt Disney World, several restaurants offer family-style dining experiences where dinner is served directly to your table. Here are some of my top suggestions:
Liberty Tree Tavern is located in Liberty Square at Magic Kingdom Park. This was the first table service restaurant I experienced at Walt Disney World and I've gone back numerous times since. It never disappoints! This restaurant serves a traditional New England-inspired Thanksgiving dinner, including roasted turkey, pot roast, and sides. There's also a delicious Oooey Gooey Toffee Cake dessert. Yum!
'Ohana is located in my favorite Disney Resort hotel, Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. This restaurant serves Polynesian-inspired cuisine in a family-style setting, featuring grilled meats, noodles, and stir-fried vegetables.
Tip: Get the 'Ohana Bread Pudding.
Garden Grill Restaurant is located in The Land pavilion at EPCOT and is considered by many to be the best buffet-style restaurant in any Walt Disney World theme park. This rotating restaurant offers family-style dining with fresh produce (much of it grown in the greenhouse that you go through when you ride the Living with the Land attraction). As you eat, you also enjoy visits from Chip 'n' Dale and their Disney pals.
Whispering Canyon Cafe is situated in the stunning Disney's Wilderness Lodge and offers Western-themed, all-you-care-to-enjoy skillets with options like barbecued meats, mashed potatoes, and corn on the cob.
Roundup Rodeo BBQ is a Toy Story-themed restaurant in Disney's Hollywood Studios. It offers family-style smoked meats and sides in an immersive setting. You'll feel like you're in one of the Toy Story movies!
Finally, if you'd like dinner and a show,
Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort combines tasty family-style dining with hilarious entertainment.
Sukhdeep, please note that dining experiences and offerings are subject to change. Therefore, I recommend you check the latest information on the Walt Disney World website. For these restaurants, you also need to make dining reservations, preferably in advance, through the Walt Disney World website or My Disney Experience mobile app.
Thanks for stopping by planDisney. See ya real soon!
