Hi Jon! Are you currently daydreaming of warm hugs or warmer weather? Either way, let's find some dining options!
To find all Character Dining locations in the parks you picked, log in to a non-mobile version of your My Disney Experience account. Scroll over 'Things To Do" and from the dropdown click '
All Dining'. The next page will populate every dining option over every inch of Walt Disney World Resort. Under the word 'Dining' you'll see a Mickey ear globe icon; it's automatically set to 'All Parks and Resorts', so now only search the parks you have in mind. Then on the 'Filter By' bar, click 'Dining Experience' and check 'Character Dining.' Keep playing in this screen with the days of your trip, and the various meal periods, to see what's available during your stay. Pro Tip: get creative by checking the availability of Character Dining at Disney's Contemporary Hotel, Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, and Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa as these three Resort Hotels are all a quick Monorail ride away from the entrance of Magic Kingdom Park.
Don't let the restaurant menus hold you back. Disney has a wonderful
Dietary team who can handle everything from allergies to religious needs.
And lastly, some restaurants do have views of nighttime spectaculars, but I've found that figuring out reservation timing AND ensuring a table with a view of a window and not the wall to be a lot of work. Instead I would recommend looking into a
Dining Package or Dessert Party where you have guaranteed viewing in addition to dinner or yummy desserts.
I hope this helped, Jon, and we'll see you real soon!
