Are there any restaurants at the Magic Kingdom (besides CP and CRT) that are open for breakfast before the park opens? I already have a res at CP in the morning before MK opens but am thinking of changing it. Thanks

    Hi Jenny,

The Crystal Palace and Cinderella's Royal Table are your only options for a table-service restaurant that serves breakfast before the Magic Kingdom opens, and you do need advanced dining reservations to enter the park before it opens.

If it helps, we love eating at The Crystal Palace before the Magic Kingdom opens.  When we arrive at the park, it is a tradition to get pictures on Main Street USA because it can truly appear that you are all alone at the Magic Kingdom.  They are a wonderful treasure for us.  The restaurant is also quite yummy and relaxing, even with the characters moving about.  As my children are older now, they are more interested in food (life with teenage boys!) than saying hello to Winnie the Pooh; and I don't think Pooh and his pals are offended to not have to sign autograph books at every table.

As we are finishing up breakfast, it is usually about the time that the park is opening, so we leave having had a nice meal and ready to spend the day at the park.

If it helps, you can read more about the dining experience at www.disneyfoodblog.com.

If you are interested in dining at one of the nearby resorts, please let us know. There are a handful of options just a short monorail ride away.

Thank you for the question; please let us know if we can help again.
