Hey there, hi there, Daneisha! You're as welcome as can be here at planDisney! I'm so glad that you've stopped by with your vacation planning question. My two favorite things to chat about are Disney and food, so, this question just makes my day!
Eek! Daneisha! In just
days, you'll be arriving at The Most Magical Place on Earth, ready to begin your magical adventure. How exciting! I am so happy to hear that you have your dining reservations set, your tickets with the Park Hopper Plus option (great choice!) and your
Theme Park Pass reservations made. Now, let's tie up all of your loose planning ends so that you can sit back, relax, start your countdown and enjoy the magical ride!
Even if you have a dining reservation and a Park Hopper option, if your reservation is inside of a theme park and before 2:00 p.m., a Theme Park Pass reservation will be required for you to enter that theme park. Since you added on a Park Hopper option, you
will be able to start your day in whichever theme park you have a Theme Park Pass reservation for and then park hop to another theme park, but only after 2:00 p.m. So, if any of your dining reservations are inside of a theme park before 2:00 p.m., you will want to change your Theme Park Pass reservation for that day or cancel that dining reservation.
I recommend making a list of all of your dining reservation locations and times and then going to the restaurants' websites and checking in which theme park the restaurants are located. Then, if your reservation is before 2:00 p.m., check and see if you have the proper Theme Park Pass reservation for that date. If not, decide if you would rather change your Theme Park Pass reservation for that day or cancel the dining experience.
Before you cancel any Theme Park Pass reservations, be sure to check the
Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar to make sure that there is availability for the new park you want to reserve. I certainly would not want you to cancel for no reason! If, for some reason, you can't change your Theme Park Pass reservation, just be sure to cancel your dining reservation at least 24-48 hours in advance to avoid any cancellation fees. Happy dining, my friend!
Since you have the Park Hopper Plus option on your tickets, I must suggest spending at least half a day at
Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park! My family spent the day here this summer, and we had the BEST. DAY. EVER! It was the perfect way to stay cool while having a blast, and it was the perfect combination of the best Disney day and a relaxing pool day. There are SO many
dining locations at Typhoon Lagoon, but while you're there, if you're 21 or over, be sure to try the Habanero Lime Galley Shack Swirl from the
Snack Shack. It is made with mango and lime DOLE Whip, silver tequila, habanero-lime flavoring, Sprite, and a lime-chili rim. YUM! Have a splashin' good time!
I hope this was helpful, Daneisha, and I hope you have the most magical vacation, full of fun, pixie dust and delicious food! Please stop by any time with any other questions you may have. You've got a friend in me!
Bon appetit,
Mandy
