Many restaurants don't take reservations for over 6 guests. We are a group of 7. We are willing to split up and make two reservations, but My Disney Experience won't allow it. How do I get two separate reservations for our group?

    Hello, Jeanne!

It is with "deepest pride and greatest pleasure" that we welcome you to planDisney. So pull up a chair and be our guest as we help you with your Disney dining question.

When selecting a reservation online through the Walt Disney World Resort webpage, you may select for parties up to 20 Guests. It is harder to get coveted dining reservations for larger groups, however, so it's a great plan to split up if you're okay with it. The easiest way if you want to book online, is to have another member of your party book the second reservation for around the same time. Then, when you check into the restaurant, on the day of your reservations, let them know that you'd like to be seated as close together as possible and they will do their best to accommodate the request.

The other option is to call Disney Dining at  (407) WDW-DINE and have a helpful Cast Member assist you in finding reservations for your party. This way, they can look at what's available and note that separate reservations are part of a larger group.

If you're not seeing availability at your preferred restaurants, make sure to keep checking back as oftentimes other Guests change their plans and a reservation may appear.

Thank you again for your question, Jeanne. Soon you'll be visiting Walt Disney World Resort and ready to "Tie your napkin 'round your neck, Cherie!" If there is anything else we are able to help you with, please let us know.

    Magical Wishes,

    Lauren
