Are the restaurants at Disney World resorts restricted to guests staying at one of the resorts? We are considering staying at an offsite hotel and are wondering if our family will still be able to make reservations and dine at resort restaurants.

    Hi Stephen!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Moms Panel.

You can absolutely dine at any of the restaurants in the Walt Disney World Resort hotels.  You do not have to be a guest staying in a Walt Disney World Resort hotel.  When you make an advanced dining reservation, you can just provide a phone number instead of an on-site confirmation number.  You can also park at a hotel while dining; be sure to bring your confirmation number with you just in case the Cast Member at the parking lot asks for it.

Generally speaking, it's easier to make last minute reservations at the resorts, though there are restaurants that book up very quickly such as Chef Mickey's in the Contemporary Resort and 'Ohana in the Polynesian Resort.

Enjoy planning and write back if you have any more questions!
