Welcome, Susan!
I hope you're having fun planning your magical vacation! I love Disney dining, so I'm happy to be helping you!
When making an Advanced Dining Reservation for Walt Disney World® restaurants located within the theme parks, guests must have valid theme park admission to enter, even if they all want to dine.
However, some of the best dining options on-property are located in the resort hotels and in the reimagined Disney Springs Area, where theme park admission is not needed AND parking is free. Here are a few of my top picks for imaginative dining with great food in some fantastic locations!
• 'Ohana at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort - Escape to the islands in this tropical paradise and enjoy an amazing meal. Time your reservation just right, and you'll be able to finish the evening watching Magic Kingdom fireworks from the beach!
• Chef Mickey's at Disney's Contemporary Resort - For a meal full of character, including Mickey himself, this buffet fits the bill.
• Boma at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge Jambo House - Go on safari by trying some amazing African-inspired dishes at this very unique buffet. After you dine, head out to the "Savannah" to view zebras, giraffes, and wildebeests, oh my!
• Whispering Canyon Cafe at Disney's Wilderness Lodge - This high-spirited dining option will have you hootin' & hollerin'! Ask for ketchup ;)
Disney Springs has become a mecca for Disney dining! From celebrity chef restaurants like Chef Art Smith's Homecomin' and Morimoto Asia, to fantastic counter service locations like D-luxe Burger and Blaze Pizza, you'll be able to find something for everyone!
I hope this helps in your planning, Susan! Please let me know if you should have any additional questions! I am here to help.
