Are there any restaurants that can/will cater to dietary restrictions/allergies? What is the best way to address these needs at the counter/table service restaurants? Any advice about signature dining options in regards to this? Thanks so much!

    Hi Betsy!

Hello again, thank you so much for your question!

As a person that suffers from food allergies and intolerances, I can tell you that Walt Disney World is the easiest place for me to dine, hands down!

At Quick Service restaurants, just let a Cast Member know you're dining with a food allergy.  They'll get a manager to come out to go over safe options, as well as take your specific order so there's no risk of cross-contamination.  Many things can be easily substituted (gluten-free options, for example), with very little work.

At Table Service and Signature dining locations, just note your allergy in your reservation.  Once seated, the chef will come to your table and review safe options, and take your order to be prepared in a 'safe' area of the kitchen (to prevent cross-contamination).  They've got this process down to a science, and it's really very seamless at work.  I've never had an issue dining at Disney.

Thank you so much for your question!

    Have a magical vacation!
