Are there restaurants that are "better" for large groups (4 adults, 6 kids....10, 9, 6,6,4, and 2)? If so, any favorites?

Hi, Jamee!    When dining with a party of 10 (which I do once a year with my family, parents, nieces, etc!) I prefer to do buffets.    With a buffet, your kids get to eat right away and everyone in your party can find something to fit their tastes.

Family favorites include:   Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary, Trail's End at Fort Wilderness, Crystal Palace in the Magic Kingdom, Tusker House in Animal Kingdom, and Hollywood and Vine at Hollywood Studios.

Family Style meals (where platters of food are brought to your table) also work out well.   You might want to try 'Ohana at the Polynesian for breakfast with Lilo and Stitch or the Liberty Tree Tavern in Magic Kingdom, Garden Grill in Epcot's Land Pavilion, and Whispering Canyon at Wilderness Lodge.

For a complete list of restaurants that serve buffets or family style dining, go to www.allears.net, click on DINING and select All You Can Eat Dining on the left side.

VERY IMPORTANT!!!   Make sure to make Advance Dining Reservations 90 days in advance by calling (407)WDW-DINE.   Have several choices available in case your first choice is not available.    With a large party, reservations are a MUST!

Good luck, and have a wonderful vacation.

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is sailing with Disney Cruise Line, running (or cheering!) at runDisney events, taking hula lessons at Aulani, or vacationing at the Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. I am proud to be a part of the planDisney team and cannot wait to share my tips and advice for a magical vacation
