    Do restaurants accept walkins?

    Hello, TIffany!

You can certainly head to almost any of the Table-Service restaurants at Walt Disney World and ask if there are any reservations available for that day. You run the risk, however, of finding that there aren't any reservations available at that time.

So many Guests have found the value of the Dining Plan, and many of those Guests book their reservations up to 180 days of check-in. We've been in Magic Kingdom Park, over a holiday weekend for example, when a sign had been posted right at Main Street U.S.A. which stated that there were no Table-Service reservations available in the park for that day.  On the other hand, if the parks are less crowded, or if you consider heading to a resort restaurant, where there may more availability, you may have more luck.

When our plans have changed, we just call Walt Disney World Dining at (407) WDW-DINE and ask the Cast Member to check to see if, for example there are any reservations available in a monorail-accessible resort (if we're in Magic Kingdom) or at Downtown Disney (if we're at our resort.)  I've also had luck by calling some Downtown Disney restaurants directly, and was then told that they "reserve" some tables for the Dining Plan and have additional tables for others.

With so many restaurant options from which to choose at Walt Disney World, you surely won't go hungry without a reservation on most days; you might just need to do a little more walking to get to one with an opening for you.

    Happy dining!
