Do you have to make restaurant reservations at restaurants in downton Disney or can you just show up? Are lines very busy in early December?

I would highly recommend making reservations for dining in Downtown Disney, especially during December. The weekends are especially busy due to guests and locals doing their holiday shopping. You may find walk-in availability at lunch time during a week day but evenings and weekends almost always require reservations.

Less popular restaurants such as Captain Jack's may have last minute seatings too! For a great counter-service restaurant with yummy food and reasonable prices, try Earl of Sandwich!
