If we have restaurant reservations for dinner, can we stay in the park during Mickeys Halloween Party? What are the restrictions if we don't have a ticket to the Halloween party?

    Greetings Kaylesa!

I see you're already starting to think about Halloween time at the Disneyland Resort, one of my favorite times to visit the parks!
As you may know, dates for Mickey's Halloween Party at the Disneyland Park won't be announced until later this year but I'm right there with you-- I love planning and knowing things ahead of time!
As far as dinner reservations during a special ticket event, here is how that works: guests are generally required to have a ticket for the special event in order to dine during it.
Guests who purchase special event tickets at the Disneyland Resort usually get wristbands that allow Castmembers to know they are allowed inside the park during that time.
If your dinner reservations are scheduled before the special event start time, you will still be allowed to dine, however, you'll be asked to exit the park as soon as you're done.
The good news is, if you plan ahead and purchase your Mickey's Halloween Party tickets as soon as they go on sale (the announcement is usually made in late summer on the Disney Parks Blog), you will then be allowed to enjoy not only your dinner reservation but sweet treats afterwards during this annual Spooktacular trick-or-treating event!
Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
    See ya real soon!
