Hi there, Janet! Thanks for swimming on over to planDisney, where life is always the bubbles! It looks like you're getting ready for some fun in the sun in just a few days, so we don't have a moment to lose! Grab your sunscreen and let's get right to it.
Disney's Vero Beach Resort is one of the two
Disney Beach Resorts (the other being
Disney's Hilton Head Island Resort) that grace the Atlantic coast. The Vero Beach resort is a beautiful spot--it reminds me of something from a classic 1940s movie! It's an ideal location for a family vacation, from the direct beach access and wonderful pools to the opportunity to observe nesting sea turtles right from the beach!
Janet, from your question it sounds like you're asking if Guests not staying at the resort may visit. You are welcome to stop in and walk around the resort and enjoy the public access beach--and I highly recommend making a reservation for breakfast or dinner at
Wind & Waves Grill! However, the pools are exclusively for the use of Guests staying at Vero Beach, and access requires a MagicBand or room key.
From my own experience, I think that once you visit Vero, you'll be planning for a stay of your own before too long. Although this is a
Disney Vacation Club resort, you do not have to be a DVC Member to vacation there and soak up the sunshine!
It's been a pleasure to help with your question today, Janet! Thanks again for stopping by planDisney, and please reach out anytime if we can help add a little pixie dust to your next Disney adventure.
Stay Magical!
Susan
