Hi, Bailey! Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
In my opinion, watching the
Happily Ever After fireworks is the perfect finale to any day at the Walt Disney World Resort. When it comes to selecting the perfect spot from which to take in this spectacular show, you have so many choices. I think your idea of watching from a nearby restaurant is fantastic.
If you're lucky enough to
book a reservation at
Cinderella's Royal Table during Happily Ever After, you will actually be able to see some of the fireworks from inside the restaurant. If you don't mind taking a quick
monorail ride to one of the nearby resort hotels, there are some amazing restaurants with breathtaking views of the fireworks.
California Grill at
Disney's Contemporary Resort,
Narcoossee's at
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, and
'Ohana at
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort would all be great options for dinner with a view of the fireworks. Please keep in mind that dining reservations are recommended and can be made 180 days in advance.
Any of these suggestions will give you a wonderful view of the fireworks. However, the beautiful lighting projections on
Cinderella Castle are such a big part of Happily Ever After, and they can really only be viewed properly from within
Magic Kingdom Park. My favorite way to take in Happily Ever After is with the
Fireworks Dessert Party with Plaza Garden Viewing. At this dessert party, you will enjoy a buffet of tasty treats at the
Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant and then be escorted to the Plaza Gardens to view the show. If you would prefer a dessert party option that provides you with a reserved table from which to watch the show, then the
Fireworks Dessert Party at Tomorrowland Terrace would be a good option for you.
Wishing you a magical vacation!
Samantha
