Welcome BACK, Andrew!
I recently went on a different half-day Walt Disney World Resort guided tour myself. There was so much Disney history and trivia in addition to the scheduled fun. My new Disney Dream Job is to become a plaid!
The Ultimate Day of Thrills VIP Tour starts promptly at 8:30 A.M. Your knowledgeable tour guide will escort you all over Walt Disney World Resort where you'll enjoy everything from the Wildest Ride in the Wilderness, to an around-the-world hang gliding adventure, to getting backstage of a sold-out concert via a super-stretch limousine. Your tour-included lunch will be at
Sunshine Seasons in Epcot where you'll have plenty of choices of both entrees and desserts. (I recommend the Key Lime Tart.)
Your seven-hour tour will end back at Magic Kingdom Park around 3:30 P.M. You certainly can request to stay at Disney's Hollywood Studios to catch the show, however it's best to make that request now rather than on the day-of. Tours are apart of the Enchanting Extras Collection, which can be reached at (407) 939-PLAY (or 407-939-7529).
It's recommended to get to Magic Kingdom Park by 7:45 A.M. so you can make your way through security and to your meeting location on time. The earliest Quick-Service dining options inside the park open at 8 or 8:30 A.M. depending on the day. If it were me, I'd dine at
Contempo Cafe in Disney's Contemporary Resort around 7:00 A.M. Magic Kingdom Park is a short 15 minute walk from the Contemporary, and there's even a dedicated bag check between the two that's usually much shorter than the one by the buses or at the Ticket and Transportation Center.
We'll See You Real Soon, Andrew!
