Is there a restaurant at disney springs that will hold a party of 20? We are meeting up with some friends when we go down there. We really want to eat at The Boathouse. Could they accommodate 20?

Hey there, Christina, and welcome back to planDisney! You came to talk about two of my favorite things: Disney Springs and Disney food! Those are in no particular order by the way. I am also fascinated that you have 20 friends who can successfully make it to dinner together. I just added my friends up and realized that maybe it’s me.

Christina, the good news is that you have several restaurant options for large parties in Disney Springs. But if The BOATHOUSE is what you want, it’s what you should have! After all, you are on vacation at Disney World! The BOATHOUSE is one of my favorite restaurants in Disney Springs and my family loves taking the opportunity to sit down for a nicer meal on our vacations. Not only is the food delicious, but the atmosphere is great as well. Don’t forget to set sail on your Amphicar tour while you’re there! But I’ll be honest; I don’t think those cars fit a party of 20. With a party of this size, you will need to call the restaurant directly to coordinate your reservation. I’ve never been to The BOATHOUSE with a really large group so I’m not sure what sizes they can and can’t accommodate, but I do know that it never hurts to ask.

If The BOATHOUSE does not have any availability, I recommend considering Chef Art Smith's Homecomin'. I recently had dinner with 30 of my favorite people at Homecomin', and we feasted on a southern fare for royalty. Being a southern boy myself, I know my fried chicken, and this one will definitely not disappoint. And make sure to grab a slice of Hummingbird cake for dessert. Again, you will need to reach out to the restaurant directly to inquire about availability.

No matter which restaurant you choose, be sure to grab a Gideon's Bakehouse monster-sized cookie to round out your time in Disney Springs. These cookies are the perfect late-night snack. Be warned, it will take you a few nights to eat just one. But never forget — calories don’t count on vacation. PG Pro Tip: Head over to Gideon's and grab a spot in the virtual queue before you start your meal and by the time you’re done eating it’ll be time to grab some cookies for that late-night dessert.

I hope this helps, Christina! If you have more questions as you plan, stop back by and ask me. After all, you’ve got a friend in me.

    To Infinity and Beyond,
