Hello again, Tyecha! Thanks for once again visiting planDisney. I'm always happy to see a Guest returning to me with more questions!
Like you, I live in California and love to take advantage of a Disney Character experience without having a park reservation or theme park admission. How is this accomplished? By booking reservations for
Character Dining in
Disneyland Resort Hotels! There are Character Dining options currently offered at the Grand Californian Hotel and Spa and the Disneyland Hotel. You do not need to be a guest of these hotels to take part in the wonderful dining options.
Let's start with my favorite...
Storyteller's Cafe. You can make reservations for Mickey's Tales of Adventure Breakfast Buffet for a chance to join Mickey and some of his closest pals for a delicious array of breakfast items. On Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, Mickey and his friends stick around for a Brunch Buffet. I find the atmosphere to be relaxing and the menu to be creative. Keep an eye out for the breakfast milk. My family still talks about how good the scrambled eggs are there. You'll find Storyteller's Cafe within
Disney's Grand Californian Hotel and Spa.
Just next door to Storyteller's Cafe, the
Disney Princess Breakfast Adventures is dazzling diners with a three-course breakfast at the elegant
Napa Rose. This one-of-a-kind experience includes personal visits from Disney Princesses, special themed activities, and a keepsake to treasure forever.
If you are looking for something a little less elegant and perhaps a little more well, goofy, you can visit
Goofy's Kitchen at the
Disneyland Hotel. Chef Goofy cooks up both breakfast and dinner buffets and is joined by a variety of Disney Characters in his kitchen. I love the energy and the atmosphere at Goofy's Kitchen. It's great for kids and adults that are still kids at heart.
Wherever you choose to dine, enjoy your time with your Disney Friends and soak up a bit of that Disney magic for me, Tyecha! Hope to see ya real soon!
