    Restaurant cancelation charges reverse

    Hello there, Shelli! Welcome to planDisney, and thank you so much for stopping by with your question.

    From what I gather, you wish to receive a refund for a late restaurant cancellation charge or no-show fee. I have unfortunately been on the same boat before, so I completely understand your frustration! On that note, I do have to let you know that all Walt Disney World Resort restaurants that offer advance dining reservations charge a per-person cancellation fee for reservations cancelled after the posted cancellation period, as well as for no-shows. Sadly, restaurant cancellation charges and no-show fees are nonrefundable.

    Shelli, it's important to note that all restaurants have a different cancellation policy, so the charge and cancellation period could very well change depending on which restaurant you booked a table for. If you'd like to check a specific restaurant's policy, I would encourage you to head on to the Walt Disney World Resort website

    Now, if you simply showed up to your reservation a little bit later than you were planning to and you were still charged, that is definitely a different story! In that case, you should undoubtedly speak to a Cast Member over at (407) 824-1391 or through the chat box within the My Disney Experience mobile app. Those amazing Cast Members should be able to retrieve your original reservations as well as your check-in time at the restaurant itself, and they will be able to assist you in case you're eligible for a refund.
