    Which restaurant is the best to book to view the Illuminations in Epcot and what is the best time to request?

    Hello Colleen and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. 
    Oh my goodness, surely there is no more practically perfect way to enjoy IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth at Epcot than from one of the beautiful dining locations which overlook World Showcase Lagoon; I can tell you that it's something my own family just loves to do! 
    As the current British Mum on the Moms Panel I must admit that my favourite dining location is from the outside patio area of the Rose & Crown Dining Room. The patio provides diners with a fantastic view of the fireworks and the Fish & Chips aren't half bad too! 
    The Mexican inspired La Hacienda de San Angel also gives Guests a glorious vantage point from inside this beautifully themed restaurant as does Tokyo Dining with it's unique Eastern decor and delicious Japanese cuisine including sushi and Bento Boxes. 
    I would recommend securing Advanced Dining Reservations 180 days ahead of time and for around an hour before IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth is scheduled to begin.  
    It's always worth remembering that great tables with superb fireworks viewing can never guaranteed, however upon check-in it would be okay to let the Cast Member know you're willing to wait a little longer for the best available table - after all you never just know when a little Disney magic is going to happen!
