Welcome to planDisney, Todd. It's so nice that you found us!
Getting a headstart on planning your Walt Disney World Resort visit is a great idea! As a
Disney Vacation Club member, I can book at my home resort,
Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort, 11 months ahead. And I love seeing that vacation on the horizon, even 11 months out. But even before I became a Disney Vacation Club member, I would still plan my vacations well in advance. There's something very satisfying about having it all locked in and ready to go...and count down to! Speaking of counting down,
check out the planDisney Podcast episode all about counting down to your next Disney vacation!
At this time, reservations for the Disney Resorts Collection Hotels, including The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort, can be booked through October 2025. While there haven't been any announcements about when the last 2 months of the year will be released, stay tuned to the
Disney Parks Blog and check back on the
Walt Disney World Resort website to book your accommodations when your dates open!
And speaking of updates,
there are a bunch of exciting offerings debuting in 2025. We've got
Zootopia: Better Together at
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, which will reimagine the experience inside the iconic
Tree of Life and get us pumped for
Zootopia 2. Then there's
"Disney Starlight," a brand-new nighttime parade at
Magic Kingdom Park. Plus,
2 new lounges: one themed to
Spaceship Earth in
EPCOT and the other to
Pirates of the Caribbean in Magic Kingdom Park. And don't forget about the reimagining of
Test Track debuting at some point next year!
While those announcements came during
D23: The Ultimate Fan Event just this past August, the announcements for 2025 just keep coming. Disney Parks Blog just revealed that
a new live show centered around the villains will be coming to
Disney's Hollywood Studios in the summer of 2025. So who knows what else those crafty
Walt Disney Imagineers have up their sleeves that they haven't yet announced?
Todd, have a wonderful trip to the resort. If you have any other questions,
just reach out!
Try everything,
Matt
