Where we can rest if we are not staying in Disney Hotels? My daughter has an appointment at 8:15AM at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, but we also are staying the same day for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. It's going to be a long day!!!!!!

Hello Maria, welcome to the Disney Parks Mom's Panel!

That sounds like a long day for sure, so I recommend arriving at the parks well rested and not having many plans for the day after.

I suggest having breakfast before arriving at the park, to be able to relax and enjoy the complete makeover experience.
After the makeover make the most of early park hours, when crowd level should be low to moderate.

In the afternoon you can decide to return to your "home base" for 3 to 4 hours and later come back to the park - at around 6 or 7 pm.
If that is not feasible, I recommend an early long lunch at The Crystal Palace or at 'Ohana.  Both restaurants feature an all-you-can-eat meal that allows you sit down and relax.
Visiting 'Ohana also allows you to leave the park and the crowds and enjoy a pleasant boat or Monorail ride to the Polynesian Resort.  The Monorail is a great place to rest.

If budget allows it, I would have an early lunch at 11:00 am at The Crystal Palace and an early dinner at 5:30 pm at a nearby restaurant like 'Ohana, California Grill or Artist Point.
Visiting Disney Resorts to enjoy a meal is also a great way to relax and to maybe rest a bit.

At the park you can ride attractions with short waiting times.
There a few benches with shades, where I have enjoy a 1 hour break on a few occasions.

Thank you for visiting and letting us help you plan a magical Disney vacation.
