Hi Catina and welcome back to planDisney!
I see your visit is coming up in just under 2 months. How exciting! I know you're probably in the last stages of planning out your magical vacation.
Kona Cafe at
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort is such a great spot for breakfast. I know everyone says their favorite dish there is the Tonga Toast, but I usually go for the french toast or the seasonal pancakes, which is usually pumpkin in the fall. They're delicious! If you have your own vehicle, I would suggest driving yourselves to your breakfast reservation. Taking a bus to
Magic Kingdom Park and then the monorail or ferry boat over to the Polynesian will take you unnecessary time, especially since it's a non-park day. I'm not really a morning person, so since you have such an early reservation, driving yourself is the way to go. Just let the guard at the gate know you have a breakfast reservation and they will direct you where to park.
Need a suggestion for what to do on a non-park day? We love to visit
Disney Springs for some shopping, snacking and overall fun.
World of Disney is shopping heaven for me and my daughter! You can find anything and everything that you want in that store.
Gideon's Bakehouse is a popular stop for the cookies, but their gigantic cake slices is what keeps me coming back. We also love to dine at
Chef Art Smith's Homecomin' for their mouth watering fried chicken and mac n cheese.
Please
stop back by and visit if you have any additional vacation planning questions.
Have a magical day!
Leslie
