Hey there, Edith, and welcome back to planDisney! I was just in
Animal Kingdom the other day and was fortunate enough to grab a seat for
Zootopia: Better Zoogether! in the Tree of Life Theater. I loved seeing Judy, Nick, and the rest of the gang on screen, and the Clawhauser animatronic appearance was the cherry on top! Many of the effects from the previous show are still present for this new offering, including water spray.
My seat was in one of the middle rows of the theater, just to the right of the center of the screen. I did get slightly wet during the spray effect portion of the show, but it was more of a light spritzing than a thorough soaking. I could see the jets in the back of the seats as I made my way into the theater, so you could put something in front of the sprayer to block the mist. My advice is to try and grab a seat either toward the back or on the outer fringes of the seating area where the effect is likely not as strong. Also, you can speak with a Cast Member about your concerns on the way into the show and they will know best where to direct you to sit.
