Hiya, Larissa, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
Your
Disneyland Resort vacation is almost here, and I couldn’t be more excited for you! You’re going to make so many magical memories at the
Merriest Place on Earth! This is my favorite time of year to visit the theme parks, and I have a feeling it will soon be yours, too!
I’m also glad to hEAR that you’re interested in setting up a date night for you and your husband. The Disneyland Resort offers so many wonderful options for romantic date nights! But first, I’d be happy to pass along some information about reputable babysitting services for you. The Disneyland Resort offers referrals for private third-party childcare services. However, since these referrals are subject to change, I recommend calling your
Disneyland Resort Hotel directly to find out which options are currently available.
Once you have your babysitter secured, you’ll want to start thinking about
dining reservations. One of my favorite date-night spots is
Napa Rose, a beautiful restaurant located inside Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. It’s adjacent to
Downtown Disney District, and it’s a short walk from both the Disneyland Hotel and Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel, too. I recommend asking for seats at the Chef’s Counter for an unforgettable dining experience! You can check availability
online or by calling (714) 781-DINE (3463).
For a more casual date night, how about bowling and burgers at
Splitsville Luxury Lanes in Downtown Disney District? Afterward, don’t forget to stop by the
CrazyShake Window by Black Tap for a delicious dessert you’ll never forget!
Last but not least, I recommend checking out
Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar, located at the Disneyland Hotel, for after-dinner drinks or appetizers. The tropical décor and tiki torches will transport you to island life in no time!
Wishing you a magical, romantic date night at the Happiest Place on Earth, Larissa!
