As the Walt Disney Company continues to examine their
Environmental Impact, this question is so pertinent! I know exactly the adorable Mickey-shaped plastic straws that you are referring to, as I have purchased them in the past as well. My sweet
fellow panelist, Wilma, just spoke with a Cast Member at
Disney's Pop Century Resort this morning who let her know that these plastic options are NOT readily available at all resorts. By the time you arrive at
Disney's Port Orleans Resort- Riverside, it's possible you won't see any.
Don't despair too much though Amanda, you never know what the Walt Disney World Resort has up its sleeve when it comes to the straw game. While I can't guarantee it, it's possible by the time your May vacation rolls around, we have new selections in the resorts and parks. In the meantime, my husband found this adorable
Mickey Mouse Reusable Straw Set on Shop Disney. Complete with a straw cleaner, this might be a great option for your traveling party! If these aren't quite what you're looking for, I know there are many other options available online.
