When will the resorts return back to when they cleaned up the room completely? O mean making the ves, bathrooms, evertything that is supposed to be done when you stay at a hotel?

Hello Andrea, and welcome back to planDisney! Thanks for sending another question our way.

Currently, mousekeeping at Walt Disney World Resort Hotels provides a modified service to your room that includes removal of trash and used towels, replenishment of towels and amenities throughout the room and bathroom, wiping and cleaning of the vanity and counter surfaces, and vacuuming. This light cleaning will take place every other day unless you decline it during online check-in. While I find this to be sufficient for my family when traveling (we prefer to be undisturbed in the afternoons while our little ones are napping, so the lack of full housekeeping works for us) I know some people are anxious for more thorough services to return. We don't know when things will change, but my recommendation is to stay tuned to Disney Resort Hotels: Know Before You Go for updates.

I hope you have a wonderful stay next month, Andrea! My family is looking forward to our vacation that same week, and we're so excited to experience the return of nighttime spectaculars and dine at some of our favorite restaurants that have recently reopened. Be sure to follow the Disney Parks Blog for more updates ahead of your departure. Best wishes for a magical trip, and if there's anything else we can do before your adventure begins, don't hesitate to reach out again.

You've got a friend in me!

Greetings! I'm Betsy, a middle school teacher, wife, and mom of two.
