what resorts should I make reservations for 2 parents, 2 grantparents, an 11 year old girl and a 7 year old boy without staying at the top of the line at DW?

    Hi Daniel,

Thank you so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. Multi-generation trips can be a lot of fun at Walt Disney World. Let me help you with some options for resort hotels for your traveling party.

Due to the ages of the guests in your traveling party, you are going to need to find accommodations that sleep six guests. It sound like budget is important to you, so let's first look at Disney's Value Resort Hotels. These typically come in at the lowest price point for Walt Disney World accommodations, and still offer the benefits of staying at a Walt Disney World resort hotel. Rooms at these resorts typically sleep up to four guests, so you could book two of these traditional hotel rooms and split the party between them. If you are looking to all stay together, the family suites located at Disney's All-Star Music Resort or Disney's Art of Animation Resort are a great option. These suites offer a separate bedroom area as well as two bathrooms and a kitchenette.

Another possibility if you all want to stay together is a cabin at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. My family has often stayed in a cabin and we love the relaxing feel at this campground resort. There is also tons of recreation offered here, from archery to horseback riding to canoe rentals, and so much more. The cabins here sleep up to six guests and have one bathroom and a kitchen. Each cabin also has a porch with a picnic table and a charcoal grill outside. We often find ourselves grilling up a dinner and enjoying a relaxing night "At the Fort" when we stay here!

I hope that these thoughts are helpful for you, Daniel. Please do let us know if you have any further questions!
