    With resorts opening back up soon I wanted to know if there will be new rules for recreation. I will be at Vero Beach for 10 days and would like to know if the pools and the slides will be open? I was recently told that you will only have 2 hours at pool.

    Hello and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Andrew! 

    Andrew, when I first started learning about Disney Vacation Club, the options to stay at one of the Disney Beach Resorts were one reason I couldn't wait to become a Member! And now more than ever, I'm excited to return to the Magic. Since your vacation is coming up quickly, let's talk about what that might entail. 

    First, I'm happy to report that pools in addition to other recreation amenities like Movies Under the Stars WILL be available upon reopening, so make sure to pack that swimsuit and sunscreen! You are correct that you will see enhanced safety measures, however we don't have an official word quite yet what restrictions you'll see poolside. Make sure to keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog and the homepage for Disney's Vero Beach Resort as information is continually updated. 

    Andrew, even though things may be a bit different than what we're all used to, I know that the Disney Magic we all love is waiting with open arms.
