which of the resorts offer family suites complete with kitchenettes?

    Hi Linda,

You will find a number of options if you are looking for a resort that offers you the chance to make a few of your meals in the room.

First, know that every room in the Walt Disney World resort now is equipped with at least a small refrigerator. That ability to have cold drinks and store leftovers or snacks is a huge bonus. Many are also equipped with a coffeemaker, and microwaves and toasters are available at the food courts for your use.

In the value resort category, you will find family suites with kitchenettes (microwave, refrigerator and coffeemaker, plus utensils) at the All-Star Music resort and at the new Art of Animation resort.

In the moderate category, you will find full kitchen facilities, plus an outdoor grill, at the cabins in the Fort Wilderness resort.

In the deluxe category, you will find kitchenettes in the studios and full kitchens in the one-bedroom or larger units at Old Key West, Saratoga Springs, the Villas at Wilderness Lodge, Boardwalk Villas, Animal Kingdom Villas, Bay Lake Tower, Beach Club Villas and Kidani Village at Animal Kingdom Lodge.

The Disney website lists the amenities and room types at each of the resorts, along with pricing, if you want to explore your options further. Or feel free to write back if you need more specifics about accommodations or any other aspect of Walt Disney World.

We're happy to help however we can. Enjoy!
