Hello, Heidi and Welcome to planDisney! I’m so glad you’re hEAR!
Heidi, my family and I love to stay in the Magic at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel and with so many choices, there is something for everyone. Since you know you’re looking for extra space, let’s talk about your options.
First, let me point you in the direction of the Deluxe Villa resorts. These resorts offer unique villas that sleep 4-5 guests in the 1-Bedroom Villas, 8-9 guests in the 2-Bedroom Villas and up to 12 guests in the 3-Bedroom Grand Villas. In addition, my favorite features of these accommodations include the full kitchen and in-room laundry.
I encourage you to browse through the options at each of the resorts offering a 2-Bedroom Villa:
Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & SpaDisney’s Old Key West ResortDisney’s Riviera ResortDisney’s Beach Club VillasDisney’s Animal Kingdom Villas- Kidani VillageDisney’s Animal Kingdom Villas- Jambo HouseCopper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney’s Wilderness LodgeBoulder Ridge Villas at Disney’s Wilderness LodgeBay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary ResortThe Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & SpaHeidi, please note that the resorts above are Disney Vacation Club properties and you'll see availability posted later than other hotels in the Disney Resorts Collection. If you're interested booking one of the resorts above, look for availability between 11-7 months prior to your desired check-in dates.
Now, Heidi, in addition to the Deluxe Villa resorts, you’ll also find 2 bathrooms and a separate bedroom at
Disney’s Art of Animation Resort in the family suites. Here you will have one bedroom with an attached bathroom and then a separate living area with a pull down bed and a pull-out sleeper (and a second bathroom). When my kids were younger and my father-in-law traveled with us, this was the perfect set up as he had his own bathroom!
Heidi, I hope this information helps to inspire your planning. Please come on back with any additional questions.
Wishing you a pixie dusted vacation!
Lauren
