Hey Kara, welcome to planDisney! I'm so excited to help you with your first question. I know you must be eagerly looking forward to your trip to
Walt Disney World, and I'm truly honored to assist you today.
You will be happy to know that all
Disney Resorts Collection hotels offer adjoining (side-by-side rooms) and connecting rooms (sharing a door between them), but these are limited. Also, it's important to remember that you can only book one room at a time, and requests for an adjoining or connecting room are not guaranteed. However, Cast Members will always go above and beyond to make this happen if they are available, and I'll share some tips on how to increase your chances.
If you already have a reservation, it's best to
give Disney World a call to add the request to your booking. If you are planning your trip by yourself, you can also use the
My Disney Experience app for online check-in and add the request there. If you're working with a Disney Authorized Vacation Planner, they can also include this request in the reservation notes.
It may also be worth checking out the
Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts, which offer larger 2 and 3-bedroom rooms and additional perks like Extended Evening Theme Park Hours and a better location closer to the theme parks. Depending on your travel dates, these luxurious accommodations might offer better value than booking two separate rooms. And if you're on a budget, don't worry - there are Family Suites available at
Disney's Art of Animation Resort and
Disney's All-Star Music Resort that can accommodate up to six Guests.
Hope this is helpful, Kara! Feel free
to come back and ask if you have any more questions. I'm always here to help our amazing friends like you.
Cheers
Nilson
