Which resorts have the interactive TVs?

    Hi there, Kevin!

Welcome to planDisney and thanks for stopping by with your question about Disney Resort hotel amenities. It looks like you'll be visiting The Most Magical Place on Earth tomorrow - the countdown is almost over! One of my favorite parts of any Walt Disney World Resort vacation is staying at the fabulous Disney Resort hotels. In fact, my family enjoys "resort days" just as much as spending time in the theme parks!

Kevin, as Disney Resort hotels undergo refurbishments and updates, older TVs are being replaced by flat-panel interactive TVs. These upgrades are currently taking place, so it's likely that those Resort hotel rooms which have recently undergone refurbishments offer these updated interactive TVs, whereas some others may not have received updated versions yet. For example, I enjoyed two stays at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside in early 2023, and while my Standard View room in the Alligator Bayou section did feature an interactive TV, my Standard View Royal Guest Room did not. I can confirm that I have personally experienced interactive TVs at these additional Resort hotels within the past couple of years: Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, Disney's Coronado Springs Resort, Disney's Art of Animation Resort, The Villas at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Disney's All-Star Sports Resort, and Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa. If you have questions about a specific Disney Resort hotel, I encourage you to reach out to the friendly Cast Members at the Disney Resort Hotel Reservations phone line for assistance!

The updated interactive TVs offer Guests a pixie-dusted welcome when they first enter their Disney Resort hotel rooms. (It's a magical surprise when your TV wishes you a happy birthday upon arrival!) Guests can access a variety of complimentary Disney content, live television, and even Guest-subscribed content like Disney+! Another amenity coming soon to Disney Resort hotels is "Hey Disney!" - a complimentary entertainment offering that utilizes the Alexa platform to enhance the Guest experience. This smart speaker will help Guests make housekeeping requests, provide magical wake-up calls from Disney characters, offer information about Resort transportation, and so much more!

Kevin, I hope you've found this information helpful as you prepare for a magical and memorable visit to the Walt Disney World Resort. If you have additional questions, or specific questions about a particular Disney Resort hotel, please feel free to stop back by planDisney again anytime! Alternatively, you may reach out to me directly with any follow-up questions and I'd be happy to help. I'm wishing you an unforgettable time at The Most Magical Place on Earth!

    See ya real soon,

    Lauren
