Are the resorts still giving out the refillable mugs for drinks during COVID?

Hello and welcome to planDisney, Marci. I see you have a trip to Walt Disney World coming up this spring. I bet you are getting so excited!

Marci, I think you'll be happy to know that the refillable mug program is still going on at Walt Disney World Resort Hotels. In fact, there are two new cup designs celebrating Walt Disney World's 50th Anniversary. They are both really cute.

Right now, the refillable mug is 19.99 plus tax but keep in mind prices are subject to change at any time without notice, and are refillable for the length of your stay. Keep in mind these mugs can only be refilled at the Walt Disney World Resort Hotel that you are staying at and cannot be refilled at any of the Walt Disney World Theme Parks, Water Parks or at Disney Springs. As a general rule of thumb, you'll have your choice of Coke products, coffee, hot chocolate and tea to fill your mug up at most locations. Mugs are sold in the quick-service dining location of each Walt Disney World Resort Hotel.

I love purchasing the refillable mug while on vacation at Walt Disney World. It's useful while you are there and then is a souvenir to enjoy at home. I love the fact that the refillable mugs are both microwave and dishwasher-safe. This makes it a practical choice to actually use at home too!

I hope this helps, Marci. If you have any other questions before your trip, please feel free to stop back by and ask me. I'm here to help.

    Have fun!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
