Hiya, Gregory! Welcome to
planDisney. Sounds like you and your best friend are planning a trip to the
Most Magical Place on Earth! I’m sure this will be the ulti-mutt vacation with your pal.
There are four
Disney Resort Hotels that are
designated as “dog-friendly.” Those hotels are
Art of Animation Resort,
Port Orleans Resort – Riverside,
Yacht Club Resort, and
The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. You are also allowed to bring your dogs to
The Campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort if you request a pet-friendly site. There is a $50
charge per night at these hotels, though the Yacht Club is $75 per night; prices are subject to change. Guests are only allowed two dogs per room, and the dogs should be well-behaved, up to date on vaccinations, and always on a leash. The only dogs allowed inside the theme parks, water parks, recreation or pool areas, and restaurants are service animals.
When you and your pal arrive, you’ll receive Pluto’s Welcome Kit, which includes various supplies to make your pet’s stay a little nicer. There is also an option for daytime and overnight boarding through
Best Friends Pet Care, so your pet can receive the best care while you play in the parks.
Gregory, I hope everything works out for you and your furry family member. It will be great to slow down and take a paws to relax a little while on vacation. If you have any other planning questions, just give us a howl at
planDinsey.
I hope you have a magical day.
Corey
