Which Resorts Decorate the rooms for Christmas? We have a camper and I have an opportunity to stay in a resort. But, I have 4 Children from 6-21 and they MUST have a Christmas tree on Christmas day!! Where can I go?? Thank you :)

    Hi Angie!

I am not sure if you will be staying part time at the Fort Wilderness Campground with your camper or just trying to choose a resort to use for this Disney vacation. Christmas at Fort Wilderness is unbelievable with so many guests decorating their sites. It is truly the most festive location on property.

If you are wanting to choose a resort for the holidays, it will become more of a decision about how to book your rooms. Most of the resorts cannot handle 6 guests in one room. You would need to book two rooms but you can request that they connect which means they would have an inside door in both rooms that open them up together. Another option is a large suite but those are very expensive and might not fit your budget. There are DVC properties that have two bedrooms that would meet your needs and there are the Treehouse Villas that can accommodate 6 easily. Both of these options would give you a large common living area where you can place a tree and have your traditional Christmas morning festivities.

All of the resorts will have bountiful holiday decorations in their lobby and common areas. None of the resorts will decorate the guest rooms. You can bring your own decorations to make it more festive during your stay but please remember not to use anything that would permanently mark up walls or furniture.

You can bring a small tree yourself or you can order small or large trees from the Disney Floral and Gifts department. If you don't see what you desire be sure and call them directly and discuss your needs.

Traveling during the holidays can be more challenging but it can also be more magical especially when you are at Walt Disney World.
