At what resorts are the best counter breakfasts served?

    Hi Linda,

This is a very subjective question, so feel free to ask it again to obtain a few opinions!  My absolute favorite counter service breakfast is at Mara at Animal Kingdom Lodge.  In fact, I just returned from a Moms Panel reunion trip at the Lodge, and enjoyed breakfast there each morning.  Options include Mickey Waffles (my favorite!), a "Breakfast Platter" that includes eggs, potatoes, a biscuit and bacon and a "Bounty Platter" that has everything listed above plus sausage and a Mickey waffle.  There are a number of other options as well, including danishes, bagels, croissant sandwiches, cold cereal and fruit.  They also serve espresso drinks (cappuccino, etc.) and fruit smoothies.

I also love the Pepper Market at Coronado Springs Resort.  This is a huge quick service facility that offers an equally huge variety of breakfast options, including waffles with fresh fruit, breakfast burritos, omelets, danishes, bagels, muffins, etc.

Finally, in the value category, I vote for Pop Century.  Here some favorites include a french toast platter, waffles, chocolate chip pancakes and a breakfast platter with eggs, potatoes, sausage and bacon.

Whichever you chose, have enjoy breakfast!
