The resorts available for my July stay with my 16 and 18 year old sons are the French Quarter, New Orleans Riverside or Caribbean Beach. Is there one that stands out as better for their age group? I have stayed at Saratoga Springs and Wilderness Cabins.

    Hi Sylvia!

I definitely recommend going with Port Orleans Riverside, especially for boys of that age.  The pool at Port Orleans Riverside is much larger with a much larger water slide than the pool at French Quarter.  There are also boats that can be rented at Port Orleans Riverside, which makes for a nice afternoon break.  If your boys are into fishing, there's cane pole fishing at the resort.  If you decide to stay at Port Orleans Riverside, I recommend staying in the Alligator Bayou section of the resort; it's wonderfully themed!

I'm not a huge fan of the Caribbean Beach Resort, though it does have a fabulous pool!  I think the resort is too large in general, and I'm not a fan of the Table Service restaurant there.  However, a lot of guests would disagree with me!

Good luck with your decision and write back if you have any more questions!
