Which resorts have amazing restaurants/dining which would be interesting for a 9-10 year-old boy?

    Lori:

I have boys the same age as yours, and they loved both Ohana at The Polynesian and Whispering Canyon Cafe at Wilderness Lodge.  Both resorts and both restaurants were given thumbs up by them!

At Ohana's, the boys enjoyed the coconut races, limbo, and the waiters who made endless rounds with meats cooked right on the spit.  Its resort sports a tropical look that is typical of what you might find on the Hawaiian isles with large Palm trees in the lobby.  Two thrills here for the boys: an erupting Volcano sitting poolside and the monorail just steps from the resort.

Whispering Canyon offered all-my-boys-could-eat ribs and waiters that enjoyed the same jokes as they did!  The restaurant sits right off to the side of the expansive lobby that takes you back to the old park lodges with giant fire places and logs.  Not to let the volcano at the Polynesian grab any thunder, the pool at Wilderness Lodge is surrounded by working geysers.  Best of all, any boy will see its boat transportation to the Magic Kingdom as another attraction!

You'll have a winner no matter the pick!

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Whitney, Mississippi

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
