Do the resorts allow you to pick up your tickets and store your luggage before check in? Also may I store my luggage after check out? I'm staying 7 nights with an 8 day park hopper. I would like to be able to use it all.

Yes!  This is our way of visiting WDW since we, too, want to make the most out of our park passes.  When you arrive, you will still want to check in to the resort to take care of the necessary paperwork where you will receive a phone number to call later to check on when your room is ready and to receive the room number.  You can then leave your baggage with bell services, which will then be brought to your room when you ask for their delivery.  From there, go to the parks and have fun!

On your departure day, you can use Express Check out  (arrange this when you check in) and leave your luggage at bell services that will hold your luggage for the day.  And again, enjoy your last day at the parks!
