Welcome, Michelle, to planDisney. I'm so happy you found your way to us to ask your question!
At this time, Guests of any Disney Resorts Collection Hotel, including the
All-Star Resorts, have access to Early Theme Park Entry where you can enter any of the theme parks up to 30 minutes earlier than other Guests. However, only Guests staying at Deluxe Resorts or Deluxe Villa Resorts can access Extended Evening Theme Park Hours on select nights at select parks. As such, Guests of the
All-Star Resorts would not be able to access this perk as they are in the Value Resort category of accommodations.
Now, don't be fooled. The perk of getting 30 minutes of extra time in the theme parks in the morning is nothing to sneeze at. You can get a head start over other Guests on waiting in line for some of the most popular attractions like
Avatar Flight of Passage in
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. You can also knock out a classic attraction or 2 in Fantasyland at
Magic Kingdom Park before the rest of the crowds are allowed to enter. And plus, the
All-Star Resorts surround you with great theming and give you access to complimentary and convenient
bus transportation.
For Guests considering staying at one of the Value Resorts, I usually suggest
Disney's Pop Century Resort over the All-Star Resorts. Why? Well, even though it won't get you access to Extended Evening Theme Park Hours, it
will get you access to the
Disney Skyliner. And access to the Disney Skyliner means quick and easy access to
Disney's Hollywood Studios,
EPCOT, and some other great hotels with their unique restaurant options. And that's not too shabby!
Michelle, if you have any other questions,
you can just send them my way.
You can fly,
Matt
