What resorts allow you to cook in the room?

    Hello, Turkessa,

Thank you for sending your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  While staying at a Walt Disney World resort, there are some that have full kitchens so guests may cook in them.  The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort is a moderate resort where guests may cook;  in fact, you can even pre-order groceries if you'd like them to be delivered to the resort.  A second option is any of the Deluxe Villas (aside from the studios).  These are part of the Disney Vacation Club resorts, but if there is availability non-member guests may book them. There are quite a few to choose from, so I'd encourage you to look these over. If you are curious about more details with the kitchens, you can do an internet search for Disney Food for Families: The DVC Villa Kitchens, Part 1 by Erin Foster (then click on links to Part 2, Part 3, and Part 4, too). We've stayed in several of these resorts and really enjoyed being able to cook our own meals, especially breakfast.

If you have some specific questions about any of those resorts, please let us know.  We would be happy to help.  Wishing you a Delightfully Disney Day!  -Kara
