Which resort do you think would be best for 2 adults and 2 thirteen year old girls, the CBR, Pop, or Old Port Riverside, or French Quarter as far as a central location to all the parks and plan to eat at some of the resorts. Plan to stay 11/30-12/0

    Eileen:

None of the resorts have a clear advantage in location to make it a clear choice.  However, Pop Century would probably be the one closest to Animal Kingdom, Epcot, and Disney Studios.  If you're using Disney transportation, it probably wouldn't matter, though, and having a car, wouldn't gain you more than about 3 to 5 minutes....

As for resort restaurants, Pop has a food court only.  Caribbean Beach Resort and both Port Orleans Riverside and French Quarter have table-service restaurants in addition to their food courts.  In my opinion, what would give Port Orleans Riverside or French Quarter a leg up over the others is its boat access to Downtown Disney and the plethora of additional restaurants that would, therefore, also be  available.  (Not to mention shopping if your girls are 13 going on 30....)

With that said, either Port Orleans resort would be my choice for your family.  But if I had to choose between Magnolia Bend's mansion setting at Port Orleans: Riverside versus the charm of the iron balconies and festive Mardi Gras feel of Port Orleans: French Quarter for your girls, I'd probably go with the French Quarter.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
