Which resort would you stay at if your party consisted of 3 adults and 2 preschoolers.

    Joel:

Here are my thoughts for different budgets:
    • Value: All-Star Movies. (This choice depends on whether one of your preschoolers is under 3 and can sleep in a crib because this resort limits 4 to a room plus an additional child in a crib.) Children love the stories-tall statues (my favorites are in the Toy Story area with Buzz Lightyear and Woody). If you're not planning on spending much time at the resort, save your money on accommodations!
    • Moderate: Caribbean Beach Resort or Port Orleans. With three adults, I recommend moving up to a moderate hotel if you can afford it because the rooms are larger and include a privacy curtain separating the vanity from the bedroom. If you have a crib preschooler, CBR is a good choice if you're going in the warmer months as the pool can't be beat with its pirate-ship theme. Splurge on a pirate room with beds made to look like boats! A close second is Port Orleans. A room in Alligator Bayou sleeps 5 with its trundle bed, so this would be the most economical option if you don't qualify for a crib. Its boat to Downtown Disney gives it a leg up!
    • Deluxe: Beach Club or Polynesian. Proximity to the parks is important with little ones. These two  offer, in my opinion, the best location for the parks. Beach Club is a 5-minute walk to Epcot and a 20-minute boat ride to Hollywood Studios. The bonus, though, is its spectacular pool area that has a sandy beach, large slide, and the nearby Boardwalk. From the Polynesian, you can hop on the monorail to the Magic Kingdom or Epcot. Its Magic Kingdom views are some of the best on property. Deluxe rooms sleep 5 with their day beds. If bathroom privacy is a concern with 3 adults, Beach Club should be your choice as the vanity area is separate from the shower area which isn't the case with the Poly.
    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
