Hi Anne,
Welcome back to planDisney! It looks like it’s been about a year since your last visit to the
Most Magical Place on Earth, and now you're gearing up for another great stay with your Annual Pass. What a great idea! Don’t forget to take advantage of the many perks that come with your pass, like discounts on dining, merchandise, and even future
Disney Resorts Collection hotel stays.
Like Tarzan, I’m going to go out on a limb and assume you're a
Disney Incredi-Pass holder. For non-Florida residents, this is the pass that gives you the most flexibility, with the ability to visit throughout the year without blockout dates. To enter a park, you’ll need both a valid Annual Pass and a
theme park reservation for the first park you plan to visit each day. Once you tap into that first park, you’re welcome to hop to another one any time as long as the second park hasn’t reached capacity. So in your case, if you reserve EPCOT on Sunday, you’ll be able to head over to Magic Kingdom after enjoying EPCOT with no problem.
There has been some recent buzz around new rules connected to the upcoming debut of the Disney
Starlight: Dream the Night Away parade on July 20, 2025. That might be where some of the confusion is coming from. Starting that date,
Annual Passholders visiting Magic Kingdom at any time of day will need a reservation. However, these changes don’t kick in until next year, so they won’t affect your June trip.
And to clarify, some Annual Pass types (like the Sorcerer or Pixie Dust Passes) come with different guidelines, including the ability to enter most parks without a reservation after 2:00 PM, except on weekends at Magic Kingdom. But as an Incredi-Passholder, your experience is a little more straightforward: make a reservation for your first park of the day, tap in, then enjoy the freedom to hop.
I hope this clears up the details for your upcoming visit. If I guessed wrong about your type of pass, the general guidance still applies, but feel free to send me another question and
I’d be glad to dig a little deeper into your specific situation.
See you real soon,
Brent
