Hi Patrick! Welcome to planDisney.
I’m so excited to hear you’ve booked a Walt Disney World Resort vacation for this coming August. I’m also planning a summer vacation in The Most Magical Place on Earth, and I can’t wait to be soaking up the Florida sunshine and cooling off with all the Mickey-themed ice cream treats!
As you know,
Annual Passes can currently be renewed up to 60 days in advance of the expiration date. I checked with a Cast Member, who confirmed that is still the case, and unfortunately, there isn’t a way to renew earlier so you can make your
Disney Park Pass reservations.
Just yesterday I made Disney Park Pass reservations for my visit, which is about 80 days away. While some of June is getting booked up, I was able to make my plans work with just a little flexibility. Since you’ll be able to make your Disney Park Pass reservations about two and a half months in advance, I’m hopeful that you’ll find availability. It seems you’re planning to renew on the first day you’re able, and then plan to jump right on to the Disney Park Pass reservation system, and I would definitely agree this is a solid plan!
As you count down the days to your August visit, keep reading the
Disney Parks Blog for the latest news and updates from around the Walt Disney World Resort. I have a very long list in the notes app on my phone of must-try snacks and drinks, categorized by location! Don’t forget to keep an eye on the
Passholder Extras page to see if any great discounts or perks pop up for your visit.
Thanks for stopping by planDisney today. Please come back and see us if you think of any more questions.
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
